Homebased
Seek out a person who may have a different cultural or ethnic background. Learn about their heritage and background.
Plan a family meal featuring the cuisine of this person’s culture or the culture of one of your own ancestors.
Plan a family or ward activity “Potluck Nation” where cuisines from around the world could be showcased.
Church Supported
Review and have a family / ministering brother or sister discussion about Bishop Gérald Caussé’s General Conference talk “Ye Are No More Strangers.”
Visit the Church History Museum and/or Temple Square. Pay attention to the art displays from all over the world.
Consider a fireside / activity / service project that would discuss or serve the refugee community in Utah.
